Why White In Winter?

I no longer agree with the concept of not wearing white beyond Labor Day. I have come to see the color white as a great compliment to the barrenness and (sometimes) refreshing whiteness of winter.

I especially find that wearing anything white (especially a whole outfit) does wonders for purifying my senses. It adds a very refined and pristine feeling to your character. It raises the thought vibrations to higher levels, meaning that you don't continuously find yourself bogged down by negative thoughts that come up.

White is the color of rebirth as well, so wear it when you want to shed off the old and start fresh with something new and inviting in your life. White will help usher the newness in!

Color Yourself Happy in 2013!

I had really been feeling all of the fabulous colors and abstract styles that exploded on the fashion scene in 2012! It showed me that color alone could be the centerpiece of a look, not only flashy, heavily patterned and glammed up looks, but COLOR.

I decided to post the above pic to showcase the lovely yellow. Years ago I would've frowned at hot yellow pants, but over the past 2 years color has exploded back on the scene and is more hot than ever! This time color is back in a very stylish and chic way, as fashion continues to evolve year after year.

So the moral of this short post, let some bold colors into your wardrobe this year! Make it the center of your attire and fashion everything else you wear around it. Not only will this set you apart from the crowd, but it'll do wonders for your psyche and self confidence. To make a long story short, there's the high chance of feeling like the most fabulous thing strutting! Color has the power to do this to our moods and energy! So get to strutting in your color-styles!

The GREEN Series

When most people think of love, the color that would come to mind is probably pink, but green is also a "love" color, too!

Green is of a more universal, "brotherly" love. It is about respecting and appreciating our fellow human beings, nature and animals, to name a few. Green is one of the most abundant colors in nature and it is no surprise that hanging out in a "green" environment can be relaxing for the mind, heart and soul. The energy of this color has a lot to do with why we visit parks and other similar places in nature to clear our heads and restore our good moods. The color green can have this same effect on our feelings and mindset when we incorporate this color into the daily wardrobe.

Wear green to inspire compassion for those you come into contact with. This color is soothing to the senses -promoting harmony, balance, healing and hope. If you're looking to transition into a new phase (of any kind), wear this color because it assists you in any changes you need to make in your life. Think the seasonal changes of nature (color, weather, shedding of leaves, etc) and then you recognize how green can help you to transform, transition and grow.

Don't wait... add something green to your wardrobe or to your life! Allow yourself to take the energy of peace, love and relaxation out into the world with you no matter the season!
